Abstract: The paper purpose is to dignify some aspects regarding the calculus model on guided self-supporting gyroplane used to local observations and scientific equipment carrying. The calculus methodology consists in numerical simulation of different gyroplane evolution. The gyroplane model which will be presented has six DOF and autonomous control system. Abstract: - In this paper, we have explained an algorithm for preserving robustness for image data hiding. Robust data hiding is the process of extraction the correct data after compression or any other alteration applied on the embedded image. Embedded image is the image that obtains after hiding some information on the original image. Our technique compare with the existing technique called Y. Q. Shi method. We are comparing results of both techniques, i.e., PSNR of the embedded image and the number of error bits introduced in the extracted data from the embedded image. Both the algorithm is implemented on all kind of images including aerial, texture, and miscellaneous image. It also successfully implemented on the medical images.

Abstract: Speaker recognition in real environment with reliable mode is a key challenge for ubiquitous service in human computer interface. In this paper, we present a robust multimodal speaker identification system with optimized reliability of different modalities. We propose an extension of modified convection function¡¯s optimizing factors to account optimum reliability simultaneously in audio, face and lip information. The proposed reliability measure is applied to a multimodal speaker identification framework for robust speaker identification. Particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm has been employed to optimize the modified convection function¡¯s optimizing factors. In the face-based expert, the image quality has been degraded with jpeg compression technique in enrollment and test session. Similarly, Lip-based expert¡¯s image quality also degraded to create mismatch in enrollment and test image. Finally, an artificial illumination in opposite direction has been ad!
ded to test face and lip image with different intensities, respectively. The VidTimit audio DB was collected in office environment has a high degree of signal distortion. We have applied local principal component analysis (Local PCA) to both face and lip modalities for reducing the dimension of features vector. The overall speaker identification experiments are performed using VidTimit DB. Experimental results show that our proposed optimum reliability measures effectively enhanced the identification rate (IR) of 8.67% in comparison with the best classifier system i.e., audio classifier and most notably retained the consistency of multimodal integration framework.

Abstract: Nucleate pool boiling heat transfer coefficients for several pure liquids have been experimentally measured on a horizontal rod heater at atmospheric pressure. The measurements are based on more than two hundred data points on heat fluxes up to 400 kW.m-2. The major existing correlations are summarized and the individual performances of each correlation to the present experimental data are briefly discussed. A new empirical correlation is proposed based on dimensional analysis which presents a superior performance in compare to other existing correlations.

Abstract: This paper is intended as design of a 3.4Gb/s transmitter (TX) for multi-channel communication. The fabricated chip has been designed and laid using 0.18¥ìm 1P5M CMOS technology. It can be applied high-speed serial link system like DVI, HDMI etc. This TX circuit can be classified into three main blocks and one additional block: a PLL (Phase Locked Loop) block for a clock distribution, a MUX (multiplexer) block as a data serializer and an output buffer stage for a driving of output data stream. The additional block is a PRBS circuit for a separate PHY verification. Especially, the out buffer consists of three parts (pre-driver, CML main driver and pre-emphasis driver). The fabricated TX chip was verified on 3.4Gb/s output data rate by measurement results. An eye-opening is shown about 0.8UI/700mV on output data.

Abstract: It is fairly easy to design a building that is energy efficient. It is also quite easy to design a building that has a good indoor climate. To combine these two parameters however is a challenge that needs regionally different approach. An increased window share in general results in an increased use of energy and cost for cooling, but these disadvantages can be reduced with a more careful design. The aim of this paper is to show the influence of window design and room layout on cooling demand and daylight availability in office buildings in Northern Europe. The other aim is to start using the combination of window share and window solar factor as a design guideline for office buildings in Estonia. The results in the paper are based on design calculations for two different room types and daylight measurements on two room scale models in a Tallinn University of Technology daylight laboratory. Calculations show the influence of window design parameters on the coo!
ling demand. The daylight measurements show the influence of window design parameters on the availability for daylight. The results have then been combined to show feasible window design regarding daylight availability and resulting cooling demand for different window orientations. The results show that, in most cases, it is possible to find a combination of window share and window solar factor that is feasible from daylight as well as cooling point of view. Abstract: Streambed-sediment samples were collected in the Veysian River Basin in Lorestan Province, west of Iran to characterize the occurrence and distribution of lead in natural and anthropogenic sites of the basin. During October 2005, stream sediment was collected at 30 sites, and the samples were analyzed for lead. Sites sampled represented agricultural, mining, mixed, urban/rural, and recreation land uses and background conditions. Lead was detected in all collected stream-sediment samples of the basin. The concentration of lead in streambed sediment is strongly affected by the particle-size distribution. As particle size decreases, concentrations of trace elements generally increase. The range in concentrations of lead at mining sites generally was higher than the range of concentrations at nonmining sites. Sampling sites located in two predominant rock types in mining areas were not significantly different (t=0.0765, p=0.8863) for concentrations of lead. Concentrati!
ons of lead were not significantly different (t=0.0855, p=0.6795) between main-stem sites and tributary sites. Concentrations of lead exceeded established guidelines for adverse effects on aquatic biota at some sites in the study area.

Abstract: Abstract Conservation and sustainable management of natural resources are fundamental to sustainable food production, water supply and livelihoods. Natural resources such as land, biodiversity, water, livestock and soil are being continuously exploited by human societies often leading to the degradation of these resources. Village ecosystems are complex systems with inter-linkages between natural resources as well as livelihoods of communities. The state of environment and natural resources report of a village focuses on major natural resources, its status and trends over the years and also the inter-linkages. With this understanding, the report highlights key environmental issues with implications for resources, livelihoods and sustainability. To understand the status and trends, indicators were identified and an inventory of the natural resources carried out. Agro-ecological zones (AEZ) approach has been adopted in selecting the village, takin!
g into consideration the key features of the selected AEZ and the representativeness of the village. This facilitates understanding of the strata of the sub-AEZ in which the village is located. The report presents general information of the village in the initial section. In these initial findings by Chiamulera and colleagues, mice lacking functional mGluR5 receptors did not self-administer cocaine and were indifferent to its locomotor stimulant effects. Since then, numerous pharmacological have confirmed that blockade of mGluR5 receptors reducing the rewarding and reinforcing effects of most drugs of abuse, and can reduce relapse-like behaviors (i.e., reinstatement). However, there is evidence to suggest that mGluR5 receptor antagonists impair brain reward system function and may cause deficits in learning and memory. Nonetheless, recent clinical trials with mGluR5 receptor antagonists and negative positive allosteric modulators have shown that these compounds do not cause major adverse side effects in humans. Enhancement of mGluR5 receptor function, on the other hand, wi!

Abstract: This paper explores the most significant causes contribute to the variation orders in the construction of building projects in the States of Selangor Malaysia. Data is collected from questionnaire survey which is based on the literature reviews and also provisions in the 'Persatuan Akitek Malaysia" (PAM 1998) standard form of building contract that are associated with the variation orders. The data were analyzed by using mean score method and rank to formulate the findings. The result from questionnaire survey revealed four most significant causes variation orders which are : 'Change of plan by owner', 'Substitution of materials by owner ', and 'Changes of design by consultant'. The finding concludes that owner is the major source of the variation orders in construction of building projects and suggested that owner to have adequate planning and recourses before initiating a project in order to avoid variation order during the construction stage.

Abstract: This paper explores the most significant causes contribute to the variation orders in the construction of building projects in the States of Selangor Malaysia. Data is collected from questionnaire survey which is based on the literature reviews and also provisions in the 'Persatuan Akitek Malaysia" (PAM 1998) standard form of building contract that are associated with the variation orders. The data were analyzed by using mean score method and rank to formulate the findings. The result from questionnaire survey revealed four most significant causes variation orders which are : 'Change of plan by owner', 'Substitution of materials by owner ', and 'Changes of design by consultant'. The finding concludes that owner is the major source of the variation orders in construction of building projects and suggested that owner to have adequate planning and recourses before initiating a project in order to avoid variation order during the construction stage.

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to analyze the sensitivity of various compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) which are used in residential and commercial applications during voltage sags. Laboratory tests were performed on different CFLs commonly available in the market. The tests are based on recent testing standards and utilizing a modern industrial power corruptor. For predefined malfunction criterion of zero illuminance condition, sag depth and duration are varied to construct individual voltage immunity curves. Experimental results show that all CFLs are sensitive to voltage sags and vary in a wide range. It also proves that some brands of CFLs having similar power rating are sensitive to both sag magnitudes and its duration.

Abstract: We study the problem of scheduling jobs with release times and due-dates on a single machine with the objective to minimize the maximal job lateness. This problem is strongly NP-hard, however it is known to be polynomially solvable for the case when the processing times of some jobs are restricted to either $p$ or $2p$, for some integer $p$. We present a polynomial-time algorithm when job processing times are less restricted; in particular, when they are mutually divisible. Our algorithm works for the case when for any pair of jobs, if one is longer than another then the due-date of the former job is no larger than that of the latter one

Abstract: Two severe landslides occurred in November 2000 in Slovenia. They attracted the attention of the entire country and also opened up some new technical questions. Both landslides were initiated by a period of heavy rainfall. The Stože landslide occurred between 15 and 17 November, 2000 close to Mt Mangart in the Julian Alps of western Slovenia. It destroyed about 25 ha of forest as well as a considerable section of the road leading over the Predel Pass. The landslide turned into a debris flow, and reached the village of Log pod Mangartom more than 4 km downstream, where it took seven lives. Approximately 1 million m3 of material was displaced. The Lokavec landslide occurred between 18 and 19 November, 2000, near Ajdovščina. Its area was estimated to have been 20 ha, mostly forest and meadows. The sliding masses were composed of clayey scree and weathered flysch cover. There was only sliding, and the danger of a debris flow. The landslide has not reached the vill!
age downstream yet, but threatens it. The paper describes both landslides and their particularities. Special laboratory equipment, a large-scale shear box, has been constructed to test the landslide material. An original testing method is presented.

Abstract: This experimental study is focused on a fuel-lean reburn system to control NOx emission from combustion process. In the conventional reburning process, 20~25% reburn fuel of total heat input is used. As a consequence, about 45% NOx emission reduction is achieved. And it requires additional burnout air to restrict CO emission level in acceptable limit. However, in the fuel-lean reburn system, by contrast, the amount of injected reburn fuel into the reburning zone is low enough to maintain overall fuel-lean condition in the furnace, so that no additional burnout air system is required, and CO emission can be maintained at almost zero level. 15kW lab scale combustor is used to examine the formation characteristics of NOx with various oxygen enhanced combustion conditions. LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) was used as main fuel and reburn fuel. Finally, the current fuel-lean reburn system, even with only an amount of reburn fuel of 13% of total heat input, was observed to !
achieve a maximum of 48% in NOX reduction.

Abstract: Electron bunch acceleration by a chirped laser pulse having Gaussian paraxial and temporal profiles of intensity has been studied theoretically and numerically in a static tapered helical magnetic wiggler in vacuum. The output properties of the accelerated electron bunches in this scheme, such as the energy spectra, the acceleration gradient, trajectory of electron and the dependence of the output acceleration to the initial phases of electrons has been attended. I show that by using a feta second, ultra-high-intensity Gaussian chirped pulse and an optimum tapered wavelength wiggler together, the time duration interaction bandwidth and accelerating gradient are increased. It shows that Gaussian chirped pulse can prevent divergence electron trajectory and remaining interior laser pulse. The main electron bunch parameters for simulations are 10 Mev initial energy and density. The electrons of bunch attain the maximum amount of energy at a particular initial phases. !
It is shown that the redial Gaussian profile chirped pulse can increase the acceleration gradient compared with that the uncharted pulse, then in this scheme acceleration of a feta second (fs) micro bunch with an optimum appropriate initial phase by Gaussian chirped IFEL in presence a tapered magnetic wiggler are suggestion, Which lead to an acceleration gradient of about 0.7 GeV/m.

Abstract: Emotion-oriented eCommerce is a new research field. Intelligent emotion recognition techniques based on modern mathematical models using computational intelligence are presented. Progression within this field of study is highlighted. The requirements for designing of intelligent emotion-oriented eCommerce systems are defined. A model for simulation of intelligent emotion-oriented eCommerce systems is proposed. It is an important tool supporting the experimental study and design of emotion-oriented eCommerce systems.

Abstract: Hydropower generators operation can be automatically optimized based on a correct determination of the main performance indices. The same approach is operable for rehabilitation studies. The most important application refers at small and very small hydropower stations, operating completely automatically, and individual or in a waterfall. There were established resistors parameters, adjustment characteristics, efficiency characteristics at different operation regime, and main types of losses at different regime. It is generated a computer of modeling process, considering these parameters, utilizable in mentioned applications. The numerical example is presented for a small hydropower generator type HVS 288/159-8, working in a hydropower station on the Jiu River.

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to develop a numerical model for the simulation the heat transfer process and the heat-induced mechanical response of the skin tissues. We present some models using the finite element method in 2D space. A multilayer model is presented and the influence of the environment on the thermal behaviour of the skin tissues is considered. The results of the numerical simulation for some practical cases showed that that the thermomechanical behaviour of the skin tissue is very complex because the biothermomechanics of the skin is highly interdisciplinary involving engineering, biology and neurophysiology. Although we limit our study to the case of thermomechanics of the skin tissue, the results can be extended for a full coupled system including biology and neurology.

Abstract: Presently, the wind energy utilization devices approach is changed from individual isolated equipments, designated to a singular application, to compel wind farms connected to the electrical network. Supported by a favorable legal frame, they become competitive actors on the energy market, challenging traditional actors, like thermal or hydro power stations. The paper presents a computer modeling of such a farm, continuing with a study of balance of a turbine, by a MATLAB simulation of the resulting transfer functions.
